Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Throwback Comic
I tried to stay true to the original Turtle drawings of Eastman and Laird.
I drew the Turtles on one page, New York skyline on another, and the Turtles logo on the last page out of my Moleskine.

I haven’t drawn a ninja turtle in probably 20 years. Long overdue! Inspired by one of the first comic books of TMNT from Eastman and Laird.Work in progress, so I still need to finish the sketch and ink. More to come.
Angela In the Woods – A DennisHoPhoto Project
My friend at http://www.dennishophoto.com was gracious enough to let me draw and digitally recreate one of his photographs. This project was a ton of fun!
I started the project with simple pencils and paper… Pencil leads ranging from 4H to 6B.
I penciled her first, and on a separate sheet of paper drew the background in. With some fancy Exacto blade work, the two are one!

Above is my grandfather on my mother’s side. Robert Burgess, retired from Postal Service, genius chess player.
Both of these I created quite a few years back. Just something that I wanted to add into my blog.
